Eddie Brisbois

Eddie played NCAA Division 1 tennis in the US after graduating he played league tennis in Germany. Certified as a Coach 3 Eddie was the first graduate of the Tennis Canada's High Performance Mentor Program. He was the former head of the Under-10 NTC Program and travelled with both Provincial and National Teams. Eddie was the first recipient of the Gary Caron Award for best Coach in Canada under 30, Course Facilitator of the Year and multiple winner of the Tennis Canada Excellence Award given for coaching junior National Champions. Eddie currently works as a Course Facilitator at Tennis Canada.

Nikki Carnovale

As a junior, Nikki was a top Nationally ranked player. After bolstering such achievements, having represented the country on the Canadian Junior Fed Cup Team, she played university tennis for the York University Lions leading them to a National Championship. Nikki is a certified Coach 3 and Club Pro 3 candidate by Tennis Canada. She is also a recent graduate of the NCCP Advanced Coaching Diploma program. Nikki was the recipient of the 2021 Rene Simpson-Collins Excellence Award that was awarded to a female TPA Tennis Coach that has demonstrated excellence in the area of player development. Nikki works with Tennis Canada at the Regional Centre, National Camps, International tours, and as a course facilitator.

Mark Cooper

Mark has helped multiple players to reach the Provincial and National level with his Tennis Canada Coach 3 and Club Pro 3 certification. He is currently working towards his CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) certification to better help the athletes he trains. Among other coaching experiences, Mark has led and worked with the U10 and U12 PTC programs, served as the Team Ontario coach at U14 Nationals, and spent a year coaching in France at the École de Tennis des Universités de Grenoble. As a player, Mark played for the York University Lions, helping the team to a silver medal at Ontario Team Championships while graduating with a BA in Philosophy.

Stefano Benedetti

As a tennis player, Stefano was awarded a scholarship to play NCAA tennis in the U.S. In his last year of juniors, he qualified to play on Team Ontario at Junior Nationals. Stefano works at the PPA as a tennis coach and fitness trainer. His history as a tennis player and knowledge as a tennis coach give him unique insight into how to develop athletes physically. By being able to see the athletes both on and off the court, Stefano is able to maximize their development in both areas.
